A music video for the song was released on June 30, 2016, and shows Rihanna performing magical acts on a foreign planet. Rihanna co-wrote the song with Sia Furler and Jesse Shatkin. It plays during the film's closing credits but is not included on the film's soundtrack. It was released on Jas a single to promote Star Trek Beyond. The visuals are beautiful with a mix of swirling colors and rapid movement as the USS Enterprise (spaceship used in the Star Trek film and TV series) travels through space. The two have made a fine pair before, notably, on the mega-hit Diamonds. The intergalactic video shows Rihanna on a remote planet, all alone with strange symbolic makeup on her face, wearing a flowing orange garment. Rihanna and Sia have teamed up on Sledgehammer, a song off of the soundtrack to Star Trek: Beyond, coming this July. This is the first music video (ever) to be released in IMAX theaters today at 9 am (EST.) and on YouTube at 10 am (EST).
